On Saturday, February 29, 2020, the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the marathon will be held in Atlanta, GA. The races will determine the three men and three women who will represent the United States in the marathon at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan!
12 runners from San Diego have qualified and are expected to compete in the race (more details below)!

1: Milestone Running, Pacific Beach
The iconic San Diego running store will be hosting a viewing party, and everyone is welcome to attend! The viewing party at Milestone Running should feature some of the most avid running fans in San Diego, due in part to its affiliation with San Diego Track Club, home of competitors Dylan Marx, Meriah Earle, and Steven Martinez.
Optional pre-race run: Long before the race, runners will gather at the Milestone store in North Park and run to the location in Pacific Beach. It's a perfect way to get in your weekend long-run, and enjoy a morning workout before the Olympic Trials! Check out the Milestone Running in Pacific Beach website for more info.

Kinetik Performance Co. is one of the most well respected Athletic Training and Rehab institutions in San Diego. They consistently treat the top runners and track & field athletes in San Diego, as well as world class athletes from all over the world. Their viewing party is an excellent chance to meet the Kinetik staff and try out some of their equipment for free - and get some free breakfast!
The facility at Kinetik Performance Co. is magnificent, and their events can be filled with dozens of the best athletes and coaches from San Diego. You literally might get to meet over a dozen Olympians standing in the same room (!!!!!)

2 winners will be selected for most creative and inspiring posts. Pictures and videos encouraged! Publicly cheering on your favorite San Diego runner highly encouraged!
Winners will receive (1) Free entry into one of USATF San Diego's upcoming events (your choice between (a) One Summer Nights Track meet in 2020 - up to 3 events, (b) One Dirt Dogs XC race in Fall 2020, or (c) Annual Awards ceremony (January 2021) + (2) USATF Swag Bag filled with USATF goodies!
The race will be televised live on NBC at 9:00am.
